Had a half day afternoon this afternoon. We found the bite to be fairly slow this afternoon as we were only able to boat 5 largemouths and 5 HUGE white bass today. Water temps ranged from 52-53 degrees in the areas we fished.

The highlight of our day was Gus' first jig fish. I have them again tomorrow and we're planning on putting that Santone jig to work.

Our jig fish were in 8 ft of water and we were using a 3/4 oz Peas and Carrots Santone jig with a Magic Craw Swirl LFT Hyper Freak. If you're not using a Hyper Freak on the back of your jig, you need to try it. It will put extra fish in your boat.
