Lake Monticello Report – November 30, 2011 – by Marc Mitchell
This little lake has been very good lately and only going to get better. We have had some very good days with some nice bass. Last week had 2 over 6 lbs, 1 at 7 lbs and another 1 at 8 pounds all on topwaters. The water temp in running from 68-81 depending on where you are on the lake. Carolina rigs have been very good with numbers and good slot fish. Anything watermelon red seems to be the ticket. Shaky heads and wacky rigs have been good with the same colors. If you are ready to get out and go catch some fish and even learn some summer tricks or pre-spawn tricks in the winter on a hot water lake. Give me a call we wil have a blast and catch some fish.
